Video: Disastrous math
These kids will perhaps grow up so different, their cousins and friends will not recognize them as ‘normal’. Their self esteem and confidence in maths will spill over to how they see teachers, school and education, and they will not understand the misery of others. Most importantly, because laughter is the best medicine, they will be a burden on the healthcare industry by not supporting it.
A bleak picture indeed. So is there anything we can do to avert this ‘disaster’ in the making?
